Introducing the re-imagined Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa, debuting Winter 2014
129 years after our inception, Casa Madrona continues to redefine boutique hospitality in the San Francisco Bay Area. Debuting this spring, the multimillion dollar transformation of our historic hotel will exemplify innovation, technology, luxury, service and style. Designed to perfection by the award-winning architect team of Safdie Rabines, the unveiling will reveal the top-to-bottom renovation of our Victorian mansion built in 1885, the restructuring and redesign of the Mansion’s 11 rooms including the new, standout 5,000 square-foot Alexandrite Suite and the 1,700 square-food Junto meeting and event space, plus the renovation of our spacious hillside cottages.
This remarkable hotel suite is perfect for entertaining friends, family and/or colleagues in San Francisco. Named after the Alexandrite gemstone—known for its miraculous color-changing properties—this 3,500-square-foot suite offers light-filled rooms and an expansive 1,500-square-foot deck with views of brilliant purple sunrises that transition into vibrant blue skies fading to an awe-inspiring reddish alpenglow. The epitome of modern luxury, the Alexandrite Suite includes a master bedroom, guest suite, 2.5 bathrooms, a full kitchen, gym, private office and a secret stairwell leading to the rest of the Mansion.
In addition to the mesmerizing Alexandrite Suite, the historic Mansion boasts 10 additional luxurious guestrooms where Victorian charm is paired with clean, contemporary design. Seamlessly updated and perfected by a world-renowned design team, these rooms feature sweeping views of the bay and the San Francisco skyline. A four-poster king-sized bed, cutting-edge technology and the finest amenities round out these beautiful guestrooms.
For the ultimate private escape, honeymoon, small group retreat or those looking for an exclusive experience, the entire mansion is available to reserve.
Upper Hillside Cottages
