What is your reservation confirmations, deposit, and guarantee policy?

Deposit equal to one night’s room & tax is required to guarantee accommodations.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please cancel 72 hours prior to arrival date to avoid a one night’s room and tax charge. Reservations made at least 72 hours before check-in date will not incur cancellation charges if cancellation is done within 24 hours after the initial booking. Changes to reservations made through a third-party channel such as a Travel Advisor, Expedia or Booking.com, must be made directly through that advisor/channel. This policy does not apply for Advanced Purchase and/or prepaid reservations.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

The check-in time is 4:00 pm, and the check-out time is 11:00 am. Late check-out and early check-in are available upon request, for a fee.

Do you have facilities for guests with disabilities?

Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa welcomes guests with disabilities. ADA lodging is available. For more information, please visit our Accessibility Page.

Are you pet friendly?

Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa is pleased to welcome you and your dog. We can accept a maximum of two friendly dogs per room for a fee of $100 per dog. The $100 fee is required and non-refundable. If there is any damage to the room due to your pet, an additional charge will be applied for the cost of repairs.
Guests must not leave pets unattended in guest rooms out of respect for other guests around you. For housekeeping to enter your room, owners must be present or the pet removed from the room.

Are there taxes and resort fees?

Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa nightly rates include a 8.0% daily hotel fee (which provides the Hotel Amenities listed below). Taxes include a 14.195% occupancy tax.

 Street Parking 9am-6pm metered

Travel by Car Service
Car service may be arranged upon request. The nearest airport, San Francisco International Airport (SFO), is 22 miles away.

Travel by Ferry
The ferry is a great way to get out on the bay and see the surrounding area as you head into San Francisco. Two daily ferries connect Sausalito to San Francisco: the Golden Gate ferry lands at Embarcadero Center, and the Sausalito Ferry goes to Fisherman’s Wharf.

Where Can I Park My Car?

Please pull up curbside, via Bridgeway Ave. to check-in. You can then obtain a Parking Pass from a front desk agent. Our parking pass ($35 per night) provides unlimited in & out access to an off-site public lot located right across from the hotel lobby.

How many rooms does Casa Madrona have?

The property offers 64 guest rooms and suites split between three unique accommodation experiences: Contemporary, Hillside & Historic Mansion. 31 guest rooms boast views of Richardson's Bay. Plus, select rooms feature a sofa bed, private balcony, soaking tub, fireplace, and kitchen. Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a treasured landmark. Based on its historical features and unique layout, please note that room sizes, configurations, and views may vary from our standard room type descriptions. Photos shown on the Casa Madrona website do not necessarily depict each and every room type available at the hotel, and we cannot guarantee you will be placed in the exact room seen in the images of the room type booked.

Will There Be A Lot Of Stairs?

Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a treasured landmark. Due to historical features of its buildings that may not be altered per federal and city guidelines, please note that some upper Hillside guest rooms and all Mansion guest rooms & suites are accessible by stairs only.
