SAUSALITO, Calif (December 22, 2016) – Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa is elated to announce the Tesla Model X as its new house car. The visionary Bay Area hotel, a member of MetWest Terra Hospitality Group, is proud of the latest technology-focused enhancement to the property and guest experience.
Taking the place of the hotel's previous house car, the recently purchased Tesla Model X will be available to guests who book/reserve the stand-out 5,000 square-foot Alexandrite Suite, a complete buyout of the property's signature residence, The Mansion or select hotel packages. Based upon availability, the Tesla with Casa chauffeur can also be reserved for a fee. Guests may use this service for airport drop-offs and pick-ups, a ride into the city, or a jaunt to wine country.
The Tesla Model X is just one of the new technological advances for Casa Madrona, one of the Bay Area's most luxurious destinations catering to an elite clientele. Proving its commitment to upscale and eco-conscience convenience, the hotel added a Tesla charging station as well as 11 EV outlets to the property. A prominent community partner, Casa Madrona will offer complimentary charging services to all Tesla owners, hotel guest or otherwise.
The newly unveiled SUV model boasts safety, speed and luxury design. It features all-wheel drive, a 100 kWh battery providing 289 miles of range, Falcon Wing doors with ample seating for seven passengers, and full self-parking capability. Model X is the SUV uncompromised. It's ludicrously fast, accelerating from zero to 60 miles per hour in as quick as 2.9 seconds.
